Lucy is a 18 year old girl who has been dealt the worst hand ever. She has seen and done things no kid should ever have to do. She is constantly on the run and doesn't stay to long.

“As her feet pounded the pavement, ducking into the shadows at any opportunity, Lucy knew one thing. She was on her own. And if she was going to survive at all, she needed to keep running.”

Zack has a reputation of going after the wrong girls...some are stalkers and some are just straight out crazy! Once he lays eyes on Dani (Lucy) he knows there is something about her.

"It's something about her eyes. There's a story in them. I can't even explain why I think that. I just feel like she's got a lot of layers and I want to peel back every single one of them"

Zack wants to find out what Dani is hiding so he seeks help from his uncle. When Dani finds out all hell breaks loose. Can Dani open up and trust Zack? Does Zack's digging cause more problems for them? Read to find out!

The book was a really great read! It left you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. I was hooked from page one and I am really looking forward to see what happens next!!!
