“I have you in the palm of my hands,” he whispered softly and leaned toward me.
“What do you mean by that?” I whispered back at him, my stomach jumping as his fingers brushed my wet hair away from my face.
“Nothing.” He shook his head. “I’m just saying, I could do what I wanted to you right now, but all I’m doing is saving you. I hope you’ll trust me after this.”
“Untie me and I’ll trust you.” I nodded, unblinking.
“Can I get a kiss as well?” His eyes sparkled as his lips came dangerously close to mine.
“What?” I closed my eyes and waited to feel his lips on mine.
“Open your eyes, Bianca.” He whispered against my lips. I could feel his breath gliding over my skin as I opened my eyes slowly. I swallowed hard as I stared up at him.
Review:
Bianca lost both her parents at separate times. Her dad leaves her letter. She tries to find out truths behind things that just didn't seem right. One minute she's out with her friend, and the next she wakes up next to the guy she met in a coffee shop, Jakob. After that, she wake up on a island with him and another man.
She starts to developers weird feelings for Jakob. She has no clue who is doing this or why she is there. The other guy Steve, tells her not to Trust Jakob, yet she can't it go. Jakob tells her to Trust him... but can she really? Truths become reality, which in return, could be her worse nightmare.
The second I finished the book, all I could think was, "Mind completely blown!!" The suspense and mystery about killed me! I had no clue who or what to believe. Just when I thought something was off, it wasn't... but then it was again. I just couldn't believe that all that went down! Seriously, it's crazy! I am a huge JS Cooper fan, but I've never read her work like this! Its new and mind blowing that will have you on the edge of your seat!! You'll want to read this for sure!! I need the next book ASAP!!
